Red Glutinuous Rice / சிகப்பு கவுனி

It is rich in “Anthocyanin” which is the reason for the red color. This is why it is called Red Kauni, Red Kauni rice is full of anti oxidants needed by the body Poo Neelam is known as Fair Kauni because of its abundance.
சிகப்பு நிற காரணத்திற்கு “பூ-நிலம்”(Anthocyanin) அதிக படியாக நிறைந்துள்ளது. இதனால் சிகப்பு கவுணி என கூறப்படுகின்றது, சிவப்புக்கவுனி அரிசியில் உடலுக்கு தேவையான Anti Oxidants நிறைந்துள்ளன. பூ நீலம், அதிகப்படியாக உள்ளதன் காரணமாக சிகப்பு கவுணி என பெயர் பெற்றது.
